New
In re:imagining the role of sustainable wood within the world of design, we invite you to pause — and look again — at the noble oak.
By choosing responsibly sourced wood, you honour not just the beauty of the material but the forests and craftspeople behind it.
The Practice of Mindful Carpentry

OUR COMMITMENT
We source the finest new European oak, backed by a fully FSC® certified chain of custody and our timber offset tree-planting programme. This initiative not only offsets the impact of your purchase but goes further—planting not just the same species consumed but also including threatened and endangered varieties as a standard.
To date, we have planted over 25,000 trees, ensuring that each purchase contributes to the preservation and regeneration of our natural world.
UNCOMPROMISING STANDARDS
We craft quiet luxury timber floors with a conscience. Our FSC®-certified solid and engineered boards are cut from select, high-density timber chosen for its stability and natural harmony of tone.
Guided by slow design, we work with patience and restraint to achieve consistent colour and refined grading. Even our standard grade sits above the norm — cleaner, quieter, and made to outlast trends and time.
Finished by Hand
The majority of our wood is finished by hand, either in our Heaton Mersey workshop or carefully on-site.
This process ensures an authentic, naturally aged finish—Because true craftsmanship cannot be rushed.
BESPOKE DESIGN
At the centre of our work is a fully tailored service — shaped around the needs of each project. From curved details and made-to-measure stairs to kitchens, wall panels and extra-long boards, we guide every decision with care.
Every floor is built as a singular piece of work — engineered with precision, finished by hand, and inspected plank by plank. Nothing leaves our workshop without passing the eye and hand of a craftsman, ensuring quiet, consistent, uncompromising quality.
Slow & Sensorial
Our floors are built to age with grace, gathering depth and quiet lustre as the years advance. Their surface becomes a record of life — a slow-grown patina that will deepen long after it leaves the workshop, carrying time forward for generations.
