Panels and Parquet Flooring

Parquet is the clearest expression of craftsmanship beneath one’s feet — a floor with intent, geometry and memory. When reclaimed, its elegance gains a further dimension: surface shaped by time, recomposed into order. Herringbone and Chevron remain the most enduring layouts, while Versailles and its kin — Chantilly, Chenonceau, Petit Marly, d’Aremberg — speak in a grander idiom of panels and proportion. Engineered or solid, reclaimed or newly-harvested, parquet can be cut, sized and coloured to suit both underfloor heat and the realities of modern construction. Smaller blocks contract a room; large-format pieces expand it; in either case, the patterning narrates the space. At Re:claimed we produce labour-intensive patinas and panel floors that carry the quiet majesty of antique precedent without pretending to freeze it in place — floors to be lived with, not simply admired. Whether laid on site and finished by hand or delivered pre-coloured from the workshop, a parquet floor is always a deliberate act: geometry as a language of permanence.
