Re : use
At the forefront of ethical British craft, we choose a slower, more responsible way of working with wood — one where beauty is not taken from the world but returned to it. Our floors stand as proof that refinement and responsibility can coexist; that commerce can carry a conscience without losing its soul.
SUSTAINABILITY
Grounded in Integrity
Sustainably Sound
Lacey Act, FSC® & PEFC Compliant
To protect forests and prevent illegal logging, we support and comply with the Lacey Act — tracing our material from source to site. We also work within both FSC® and PEFC standards to ensure that every board is sourced with integrity.

60,000kg of CO₂ Saved
HONOURING WHAT REMAINS
Eighty percent of our timber is reclaimed — protecting living forests by working with what already exists. Preparing salvaged wood uses up to 13× less energy than milling new, and every stage of our making runs on clean power.
To date, we’ve prevented over 60 tonnes of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere — lowering impact while extending the life of every board we touch.
25,000 Trees Planted
Forestal Legacy
Over the past decade we have returned 25,000 trees to the earth — across the UK and North America — a quiet counterweight to what industry has removed.
Through One Tree Planted, that promise now widens: as our hands work with wood, the land that bore it is given back to — tree by tree, season by season — so the story continues on both sides of the craft.
Slow Grown for Lasting Beauty
NEW EUROPEAN OAK
Every beautiful wood floor begins in a well-stewarded forest. Our Mountain Oak is cut from slow-grown European stands where trees are allowed to mature at nature’s pace. This patience yields rich character, steady grain, and balanced tannins — the foundation of our craft.
Fast-grown timber may offer yield, but not depth. In open, high landscapes our oak grows with deep roots and wide branches, drawing strength from mineral-rich soil. That slow, quiet growth produces a timber of rare stability and beauty — built for floors that endure.
